1. The applicant must be a life member of the MASP for at least one year. 
  2. Applications must be submitted at least two months in advance to the Executive Committee for approval. 
  3. Applications must be accompanied by a letter of support from the organization (e.g., director of hospital/ head of department) 
  4. The organizer must include acknowledgment of MASP financial support in the promotional material of the event. MASP may also request the organizer to promote upcoming MASP events during the sponsored event. 
  5. The organizer must advertise the event to MASP members 
  6. The applicant should not have made any false declarations to MASP.

Financial Consideration

  1. The amount of financial support will depend on the type of the meeting. As a guide, the maximum amounts are:
    1. Physical CME (1-2hours): RM300.00
    2. Workshop (1-2 days): RM2000
  2. A detailed budget should be provided with the application.

The Executive Committee reserves the right to set a lower limit on the amount of financial support to be given to each successful applicant. Applications for financial support are not automatically approved.

  1. Reimbursement will be done by the Treasurer after the event with official receipts and proof of event. Documents for reimbursement must be received within 1 month of the event. If relevant documents are not received, the Executive committee reserves the right to withhold the financial support

This policy is subject to review from time to time by the Executive Committee and will depend on the prevailing financial position of the Society.
