Dear delegates,
It is indeed a privilege and a proud moment for me to pen a few words to you.
The Malaysia Society for Interventional Pain Practitioners (MSIPP) has in the past have conducted national level cadaveric interventional workshops. As the art of interventioning pain are diverse, in the recent past, a distinct technology that was incorporated was ultrasonography, originally crafted to only view deep seated organ. Now, ultrasonography has gained recognition as an important tool amongst the armamentarium available in interventional pain management. Nevertheless, any technology is invaluable only if the practitioners are enriched with appropriate skills and knowledge. Hence, a favourable pain management outcome.
Therefore, I am in the hope that the 1st International Ultrasound Guided Interventional Pain Management Symposium and Workshop 2015, Malaysia will be instrumental in “Scaling for Precision” for all delegates who are here to improve skills and knowledge on ultrasonography in pain management. A distinguished faculty along with an interesting programme has been organized to assist delegates to realise this purpose.
