Notice is hereby given that the 12th Annual General Meeting of the Malaysian Association for the Study of Pain (MASP) will be held on Saturday, 14th April 2007 at 5.30 pm at Hotel Istana, Kuala Lumpur.

  1. Confirmation of minutes of the 11th Annual General Meeting on 8th April 2006
     
  2. Matters arising
     
  3. To receive and adopt the Annual Report – 2006/2007
     
  4. To receive and adopt the Statement of Accounts – 2006/2007
     
  5. To discuss any resolutions and/or amendments to the constitution.
     
  6. Any other matters

Dear Members

This year, the AGM will be held on April 14th 2007 at the Sagar Restaurant, Hotel Istana, Kuala Lumpur. The notice of the AGM and the agenda are attached.

In conjunction with the AGM, the MASP has organised a talk on “The Torture of Pain” by Dr Amanda Williams, Reader in Clinical Health Psychology, University College London. The talk will be followed by dinner and a social gathering, which will be open to members and their family and friends. The schedule is given below.

Date :  Sat, 14th April 2007 

5.30pm – 6.30pm: AGM
6.30pm – 7.30pm: Talk “The Torture of Pain” by Dr Amanda Williams, Reader in Clinical Health Psychology, University College London.
7.30 pm – 10.30 pm Dinner

Venue: Sagar Restaurant, Istana Hotel, Kuala Lumpur

Please come along and support our AGM, listen to the talk, and enjoy the food and company. We have booked a private room at the Sagar Restaurant, Hotel Istana, Kuala Lumpur, from 5.30 pm onwards. The MASP will subsidise the cost of the dinner for members, and will charge cost price for your guests.
